Present and Past

This was unique, marvellous, wonderful

Client: Walraven Groep

Brief: When a small, sober, very Dutch family business that has grown during 70 years into a large international systems supplier, and now faces a management change: that is special. So founder Jan decided the transfer of authority to his son Pelle should not go unnoticed.

Concept: A two-part event was envisaged, focussing on respectively business associates, and the company’s own staff. For business associates, after an original invitation on print and in video, tailor-made round-the-clock excursions around the factory involved encounters with the new management and confrontations with innovative products. Trend watcher Rob Creemers gave an insider’s peek into the future, and some top-notch culinary delights were served. Two weeks later, 400 employees gathered in Fort Voordorp in Groenekan for a retrospective into the company’s roots, some words of encouragement from prominent outside speakers and an impressive display of photographical history. The serious part soon made way for a spectacular party, at the end of which Jan and his wife were passionately waved into retirement, in true family fashion.

How happy was Walraven Groep? “This was unique, marvellous, unforgettable.”

There was a high powered rock group, built around pilots and pupils -with some managerial support. There was comedy, dancing, music, singing, all coached by top professionals to exceed even their own expectations. Of course there was plenty of food and drink, and the evening finished in style with a number of top entertainers sharing the stage with the talented staff performers .

Concept: This time, the location was a royal palace: het Loo. During four days, 2400 pensioners were picked up from near their homes and driven to this fabulous location. Their, the bank’s Management Team welcomed their guests with immaculately served coffee and biscuits. The programme included tours around the extensive gardens, visits by horse-drawn tram to the royal stables, and -of course- a sumptuous meal served in a specially constructed royal pavillion.

How happy was ABN AMRO: “We acknowledge our success is built on the performances of previous generations. That’s why we enjoy honouring them in a fitting entourage, where nostalgia goes hand in hand with a great day out. Every year, Event Station manages to pleasantly surpise both us, and our pensioners.”

Introduction product range

Exceeded our wildest expectations

Client: Egger

Brief: Egger, an Austrian manufacturer of high grade building materials, wishes to introduce an entirely new product range called Zoom2 to 1150 interior designers. The aim: to convince them of the unexpected applications suited to this new take on MDF/chipboard.

Concept: To address the designers’ creativity, five different moodrooms were built to showcase the versatility of Zoom2. The mood rooms, however, were not the work of Egger themselves but the brainchildren of five different young architects and designers, challenged to establish the limits of the materials -and then go a step or two further. Steps that included distinctly futuristic furniture designs.

How happy was Egger? “The introduction exceeded our wildest expectations. We could not have wished for a more convincing visiting card. ”
