10 years in business

Our employees are still smiling!

Client: Hiltermann Lease Groep

The brief: an inspiring evening for customers and employees on our own home ground, to celebrate a decade of success.

Concept: a nostalgic house of mirrors inspired reflection on the past and present, and to raise a glass to the future. The natural location for such reflection is the company car park: normally home to the four-wheeled stars of Hiltermann’s business. The entrance was tailor-made to match Hiltermann’s house style and promote a custom-made appearance.

So how happy was Hiltermann Lease Groep? “From the tent and artists to security, entertainment and catering: everything was spot on. Two wonderful days no-one is likely to forget. Our customers and colleagues were pleasantly surprised, and are still wearing the smiles. You guys really know how to throw a party.”

EkoTown

A biological experience of taste, involving all senses.

Client: Ekoplaza / Angi Events

Brief: a special festival to introduce and promote a biological lifestyle.

Concept: EkoTown, a two-day pop-up village in the Amsterdam Woods.

So how happy were Ekoplaza / Angi Events? “The first edition of Eko Town surpassed our wildest expectations. Visitors were talking to farmers, growers, butchers about their produce. Some started the day in a gruelling boot camp, others preferred a soothing yoga session. Children went for a hike with a gamekeeper or learned to bake bread, make butter, build paper toys, etcetera, etcetera. Parents tasted delicious snacks or superhealthy smoothies. Lounging on bean bags, visitors enjoyed live shows by famous musicians and inspiring singer-songwriters. We are looking forward to a second edition.”

Ambassador days

Again, Event Station found the perfect pitch.

Client: ABN AMRO

Brief: organise a theatre tour for our retired colleagues.

Concept: ABN AMRO is proud of her past and those who made it possible. And so, the annual Ambassador Days serve as a ‘thank you’ to thousands of ex bankers, briefly reunited to relive old times and to be introduced to current priorities in the bank they served so loyally, and with which they will remain forever connected. In the country’s finest theatres, they receive intimate updates on performance and ambitions, relive the good old days and revitalise past friendships. Ties that, in the best possible sense, bind.

How happy was ABN AMRO? “As usual, Event Station precisely balanced business and pleasure, provided the best possible catering, struck the exact right tone and made sure a good time was had by all. But hey, how hard can it be when you have been practising for 16 editions?

A sea of information

Bringing policies to life

Client: Bebeka

Brief: Bebeka, a maritime co-operative from Groningen, wants to update her members and stakeholders on changes that are affecting the world of shipping.
Last year, Amsterdam’s Harbour Club was the venue, and former Shell CEO Jeroen van der Veer was the keynote speaker in an interactive interchange of ideas. This year, Taets Art and Event Park in Zaandam hosted an inspiring event..

Concept: guests were given information on current and upcoming environmental issues affecting shipping, and what it could mean for business models. In an interactive setting, Holland’s most prominent journalist/interviewer Sven Kockelmann confronted shippers with the challenges only just around the corner, and chaired a debate on the realities of sustainability in shipping. Prominent speakers including heavyweight Paul Rosenmöller, cast light on how sustainability will move from the fringes to the centre stage of entrepreneurship -and what that will mean in practice.

How happy was Bebeka? “Event Station took the entire weight off our shoulders. In the process, they turned static policies into dynamic realities ”

An uncharted voyage of discovery

A different Christmas

Client: Amasus

Brief: In the international nautical world, Amasus is an undisputed expert when it comes to freight and crewing. To celebrate Christmas, they decided to bring all employees and partners together at a not-so-nautical location: the spectacular museum of Groningen.

Concept: It started with an exclusive guided tour around the exhibition ‘Natural Beauty’. The tour ended surprisingly in a magnificent diner setting created by Event Station together with Bos & Bos catering. There, guests were entertained till well after midnight with culinary delights, musical intermezzo’s and some unexpected magic.

How happy was Amasus? “For us, the evening was about recognition of employee performance and quality without compromise. Just what we wanted, and so much more than just an annual Christmas dinner. Next year, we look forward to challenging Event Station to develop something equally different.
